Laser in Dentistry

Still today, in the year 2013 there is a big confusion of the lasers applications in dentistry. Wrong promises and fictional application of the producers and salespersons, brings this new technology in disrepute more and more. Lasers are not working – there is no sense to use them in dentistry. This is was I hear every day worldwide. Scientifically, the same confusion exists. There are more and more National - and International societies which organize workshops, congresses and so on but only some of them organize courses where the science stands in the foreground. Consequently, it is normal, that lasers until today don’t find in the universities or serious societies no official place. As long as the industry can still play with fluctuation of ± 20 percent of the energy, is there no way to generate real scientific tests.

A.L.E is an International non profit society and unites all which are interested for the argument Laser in medicine. The entry became on € 5.- , to offer world-wide everyone the possibility to give his experience of the area almost gratuitously and to spread. This should be an invitation to all colleagues, to give his contribute and send an article or there photos of the cases with a short description.
